We’re creators of award-winning software & service for folks who run K-12 education and we’re looking for a highly motivated Regional Account Manager to manage the sales process from lead to close in a Missouri, Kansas, or Illinois territory.

We don’t sell pencils…our product (solution) makes a difference in kids’ lives. We ask our districts to join the movement. If you’d like to help us convince them, please apply for this great opportunity.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a trailblazer. You don't see yourself as a sales person, you are a consultant. You understand that consulting requires excellent listening skills and the ability to adapt your solution to fit the needs of the client in real time. You embrace the advisor role and take a prescriptive approach to managing your clients’ needs. You thrive in a fast-paced, highly innovative, quota-driven sales environment. This position is best suited for a tenured sales person with extensive experience managing deals of all sizes, driving executive level conversations and who has a strong consultative selling background.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be expected to develop new partnerships with school districts that have more than 5,000 students enrolled. Your job responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying potential district partners for the Achievement Initiative. You will do this by meeting with decision makers within a district. You will assess district leadership & ensure alignment between their vision/goals and our on-model criteria. While managing and tracking customer information in CRM, you will exercise discretion and independent judgment to nurture, develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline. You will own the full sales cycle from discovery to close for your assigned accounts. You will be expected to meet/exceed your individual sales quota and quickly establish yourself as a leader & coach on the sales team.

Must Haves:

  • Live close to major airport in Missouri, Kansas, or Illinois

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 8+ years of recent experience selling complex products, services and/or software to high level executives

  • Experience selling to the K-12 education vertical; specifically C-level leadership

  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales quotas

  • Strong presentation and communication skills to build relationships

  • Demonstrated work ethic that shows in your ability to work independently while managing and prioritizing opportunities

  • Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel) proficiency

  • 30-40% travel to assigned accounts and/or to HQ in El Dorado Hills, California

  • Previous remote sales experience is a must; established home office

  • Experience utilizing video conferencing such as ZOOM is preferred

We are looking for candidates who live in Missouri, Kansas, or Illinois to fill this work-from-home/remote position.
